APPLICATION INFO: The Bendigo Easter Festival catering and retail vendor sites will run across all the four days of the festival with outlets located in different areas. Fiesta Events & Catering is seeking expressions of interest from catering operators to participate in the Bendigo Easter Festival 2022. Opportunities to be involved are limited so get you applications in quick.

Join us this Easter in 2022 to celebrate the Bendigo Easter Festival 150th anniversary. To recognise the significance of this milestone, the City of Greater Bendigo has endorsed a four-day festival format.

Bendigo Easter Festival 2022 is a Waste Wise event, that is committed to responsible waste management and purposefully plan to avoid and minimise waste. Vendors must use recyclable (aluminium) or compostable packaging and serving ware (cardboard, paper or certified compostable plastics); No plastic packaging and plastic materials to be used except for plastic packaging that is certified as compostable and made from 100% renewable resources.

Commencing in 1871, the Bendigo Easter Fair is one of Australia’s longest running community events, which was due to celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2020. Following a two year hiatus due to COVID-19, the event will make a highly anticipated return in 2022 to celebrate 150th Bendigo Easter Fair.

Over the four-day Easter long weekend, Bendigo’s beautiful Rosalind Park and surrounding streets will be transformed into a vibrant precinct bursting with family-friendly entertainment, stage shows, hands-on activities, live music, roving performers an Easter egg hunt and more!

Experience the thrills of Carnival Central, find a treasure a the Rotary Art and Craft Market, and marvel at the extraordinary entertainers wandering through picturesque Rosalind Park.

Dance, drums, Lion teams and 100,000 crackers are all part of the Chinese Spring Festival and Awakening of the Dragon, as Bendigo celebrates its Chinese heritage at the Dai Gum San Precinct.

As the sun sets on Easter Sunday, find your place along the road to cheer on the convoy of illuminated floats in the Torchlight Procession, concluding with a spectacular fireworks display over the city.

The 150th Bendigo Easter Fair will culminate when thousands of people line the streets on Easter Monday to watch the gorgeous display of colour in the Gala Parade. Experience the excitement as Bendigo’s newest Dragon Dai Gum Loong (the world’s longest Golden Dragon!), weaves his way through the historic streetscapes of Bendigo in his first solo parade outing.

The 150th Bendigo Easter Fair is filled with fun and excitement the whole family will enjoy, and after visiting this annual event it is sure to become your family’s Easter tradition.
